Jennifer Grimm: News

~Happy Springtime~ - April 3, 2006

Man... a lot going on this spring.
My husband and I just got a house and we move this Saturday... we started looking after we found out that we were expecting a little one! Come August, we'll be parents! It's kicking around in there as I'm typing. Weird.

I had a blast singing the National Anthem for the Timberwolves Game yesterday! They set us up with some nice tickets and, what do you know, we won!

Coming up in April are a ton of private events with just one show open to the public.

On April 15th, I'll be at the Twisted Grille in Hudson, WI with Mark Asche on keys.
A mellow duo, the two of us. Might be just what you need to relax on potentially one of the most stressful days of the year... I suppose TaxDay has been moved to the 17th this year, so grab some wine before the crazy Monday.
See the Schedule Page for more info...

Coming up... - February 27, 2006

Something to look forward to... My mother, Colleen Raye and my sister, Sophia Grimm, and my aunt, Debbie O'Keefe, will be performing in the
World Premiere of
The New Musical Revue
"The Girl Singers of the Hit Parade"
June 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25
The Phipps Center for the Arts
Hudson, WI

February/March - February 17, 2006

Hi! February and March hold a lot of private parties this year and a bunch of rehearsals for an upcoming show. I'll be rehearsing here in the Twin Cities and down in Florida for the role of Garland in The History Theatre's BEYOND THE RAINBOW. I'll be learning the part, but not performing it as of yet. The talented Jody Briskey originated the part here in town and is playing it down in FL with me as her backup.
There are a few public performances here and there throughout these months, so come say Hi when you can! I'll be looking forward to seeing some familiar faces!

Married! - December 8, 2005

Had a wonderful time on the Honeymoon and am glad to be back as a married woman to a wonderful man. It's been pretty fun - so far we've been playing gigs together pretty regularly - he's a fantastic saxophone player - and that's so nice to have him on the job.
We are looking forward to the Holidays! Hope yours are happy!

Wedding - November 10, 2005

Hi - I'm very excited about the upcoming days! Looking forward to the Bachelorette Party, the Rehearsal, the Wedding and, of course, the Honeymoon! I'll be out of town for that, so please come hang out with me in December when I'm back on the block. See you soon. ~jennifer

Summer 2012 - May 29, 2000

Things are fun over here with the Grimms!

My little brother, Reed, and his journey since American Idol has been exciting.  Not only has he been getting a bunch of different offers, but his fan base keeps growing and growing.  We're all so proud of him!

You can see many of the Grimm siblings performing at the Minnesota State Fair this year - just keep watching for more details.  Performances will be at the Dino's Gyros Stage (on Underwood and Carnes).

I've been performing at theaters and clubs and having a blast at my regular Sunday night show @ Manitou Station!

Check the Schedule Page for more details of times and locations.

Papa Murphy's radio commercial - March 20, 2000

Hey! Recorded a national radio commercial (speaking) for Papa Murphy's the other day. So, if you happen to hear the commercial about Fran, the frantic mom driving home from work, that's me! I'm Fran in the commercials as well as the announcer in some of them - 'Handmade fresh, Homebaked great!"

On the Road Again... - March 15, 2000

Here we are! Out and about - doin' what we do best. Having a blast with the crew on the Girl Singers tour. Pretty easy when the crew consists of my brother(drums), my sister(vox), my mother(vox), my aunt(vox), and the piano player, the bass player, and the crazy fun tech guy. Playing a bunch in the plains and then we go back home at the end of March. I'm home for a few days, and then I head out to New York to play the Metropolitan Room on Thu Apr 8th and Carnegie Hall Fri Apr 9th. My good friend, Lynn Loosier is the reigning champion of The Apollo Theater's competition and she told me that she plans on having me sing at the Apollo on Wed Apr 7th, but we shall see.... T'would be crazed. Anyhow, the schedule of the whens and the wheres is on my Schedule Page. Feel free to drop me a line and be sure to pop over to a show if I'm in your area!!!! ~jennifer

Things are great! - 2000

Saying Hi to the folks out there!

Having a blast with my two children and my full schedule doing voice overs, writing music, producing CDs, events and shows, performing for private functions and, of course, my SUNDAY NIGHTS at Manitou Station (details on Schedule Page).

Finished producing a 30-minute television Christmas Special and am currently shopping it around to stations to team up with some local talent and make a fun splash on TV!

Looking forward to the new year and can't wait to hear from you - let me know how you are by emailing me and joining my update list.  Place your email in the field on this screen and join up!

Many exciting things to come...

A little more NBC... - 2000

Some more fun has arrived in the form of NBC's "The Sing Off" during their second season.  You just might hear me singing or you just might hear music that I have written playing a supporting role to the contestants and their journeys, hardships and successes.

It was great fun to be part of the team collaborating with Sony and NBC!

Tune in this December...
